What our clients are saying:

“I can’t stress strongly enough how impressed I was with your service from start to finish. You answered and responded to my many questions – and nothing was too much trouble…”

Hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA)

Hiring a Virtual Assistant can be very daunting for many small businesses, but it doesn’t have to be.  Once you have found the right assistant for your business, it’s important to have a clear idea of what your expectations are.  Here are a few things to consider;

  • What tasks do you want your assistant to take care of for you?
  • What communication method best suits you and the tasks you require?
  • How much time (approximately) do you envisage these tasks to take?

Once you have set the foundations of this new working relationship, you’ll wonder why you hadn’t hired a VA sooner!!

Some of the tasks Admin Angels takes care of for our clients include:

  • Filing (on-site)
  • Database & Membership management
  • Creating Newsletters and E-mail campaigns
  • Invoicing
  • Organising events
  • Book Keeping (on-site)

Administration is what we love to do!

What is your time worth?

I read a great article in a business magazine recently about “stupid things you do in your business” and it went on to say that many business owners try to save money by trying to do everything themselves, but this can end up costing you big time.  I think one of the downfalls of having your own business is that you tend to fall into the trap of doing everything yourself, well you know your business best, and who else is going to do it?  You might think that you’re saving time and money by doing this all yourself, but the reality is that you are probably losing out.

Learn what your time is worth, and then consider outsourcing or hiring someone to take care of the tasks that are time consuming.  You might be amazed at how this actually frees up your time so you can start working on the things that generate money.

Back in full swing…

Well we’ve been back from our holidays for over a week now and I’m back in full swing again……was there even a holiday?  There was so much lead up to our holiday – I couldn’t seem to think past it – and I was run ragged just trying to tie up loose ends before we left that I was exhausted.  Now I can’t believe it’s been and gone.

We started off our trip spending time in Singapore with my brother-in-law, which was nice, and then we went to Vietnam and stayed with friends who are living in HCMC.  While we didn’t get to see everything in Vietnam that we would’ve liked to (the drawback when travelling with young kids), we saw enough of the country to gain an appreciation and to want to go back again one day.  We took a trip to Hoi An, a beautiful little village by the sea, and stayed at a quiant hotel.  Unfortunately we didn’t get to the beach while we were there as the day we’d planned to go to the beach we had torrential rain – a good reason to go back there again one day!

One downfall of holiday’s is that you have to come home to reality again and almost always put on weight while away!  So now I’m busy writing my “To do” list, which is growing rapidly, and also trying to get back into shape again.  Why is it always more enjoyable putting the weight on, than getting it off?

Welcome to my first Blog!

I am so excited to launch my new look website and logo.  Not that I didn’t like my old website, it’s just that it was time to have a re-vamp and add in some other features, such as my Blog pages!!

I have to say a huge thank you to my wonderful husband who designed my new logo and website.  He spent many long hours on evenings and weekends to do this for me and I am so appreciative, and think the finished product is fantastic.

So now for the next chapter for Admin Angels……we’re starting a new marketing campaign and are going from strength to strength.  It’s exciting times!

I look forward to sharing more news, articles and other items of interest with you in my future posts.

Regards,
Barb
